I'm not just an Elvis-fan, but after finding the papertissue of the black/white Elvis-face (I've got it long time ago from an ATC-tradingfriend),
I desided to create an art journal-page using it.
I was lucky to find the quote of him:
"Every time I think I'm getting old and gradually going to the grave, something else happend."
- Elvis Presley
I don't know, but I suppose that these words of Elvis, are the reason for the world wide known sentiment:
"Elvis is alive."
And millions even believe it's true.
I made the background for the page with gesso and oilpastels. I outlined slightly the face with charcoal, coloured it, and glued it onto the background. Then adhered to it other image- and textprints.
I finished the work with grunge edge-stencils.

I'm linking the page in Art Journal Journey 08/2015, 'Time'.
Thanks for looking and reading.

Dear Sirkkis,
VastaaPoistayour Elvis page is wonderful. Yes, we can see running time by thinking about Elvis and his time and his music.
Greetings from Erika
VastaaPoistawonderful.
VastaaPoistasometimes we must go back in time in our mind!
