I first painted the face with acrylics, but wasn't satisfied its colors. So I scanned it and painted over with digital brushes in my photo shop, gave it the digital background, a butterfly and edited the text.
I'm linking the page at the Art Journal Journey Challenge this month's theme 'Yellow color'.
I'm taking part also on Paint Party Friday Challenge Week 51, Year 8.
Thank you for looking and the comment you leave.
Wishing everyone happy Weekend and enjoyable PPF!

'Nauti päivästä'-
art jourmal-sivun kasvot maalasin ensin akryyleillä, mutta kun en ollut aivan tyytyväinen tuloksen, maalasin uudestaan päälle digisiveltimillä kuvankäsittelyssäni. Tein digitalisesti taustan, lisäsin perhosen ja editoin tekstin.
Virkistävää talvista viikonloppua kaikille!
Beautiful! :)) Happy PFF! <3
VastaaPoistaI love her face Sirkkis, and also the background. The butterfly is a sweet and happy addition. Happy PPF :D) xx
VastaaPoistaThis is another stunning piece. Love that colour.
VastaaPoistaI don't know what her face looked like before, but this is a simply stunning face, now, Sirkkis. Your use of Photoshop amazes me. I am super impressed. This is beautiful, right down to her red lips and nails. Thank you for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey, yet again this month. I can tell you like Rike's theme.
VastaaPoistaYou are very clever in combining hand- and digital art ! She is simply adorable! A wonderful painting! Thank you very much for joining us over at Art Journal Journey with this beauty!
VastaaPoistaHappy weekend!

I really admire this painting! So cool that you started with acrylics and painted and finished it in your photoshop!

VastaaPoistaShe is very beautiful and this is so pretty~
VastaaPoistaHappy PPF~
She is lovely in this happy painting. Acrylic is very forgiving, I have completely repainted in acrylics. But digital works even better I am sure!
VastaaPoistaShe is simply lovely.
VastaaPoistaLovely and cheerful portrait! happy PPF!
VastaaPoistaPretty lady.
VastaaPoistaYou've created a beautiful woman. I love her black hair and lovely large eyes and her expression, and the way she has the hand at her face makes it seem as if she is about to say something.
VastaaPoistaI love the halo rings in the background and think she came out beautifully. Sometimes I touch up images digitally too — especially if I've painted really lightly and lost some of the color in the photo or scan.
VastaaPoistaShe is beautiful.
VastaaPoistaShe so soft.
VastaaPoistaHappy Art
Lovely. I like the glint in her eyes.
VastaaPoistaWhat a clever way to recreate this beauty, she really is stunning. I love her gentle gaze.
VastaaPoistaHappy PPF Hugs for the weekend Tracey xx
An amazing face and clever technique to get it how you wanted it to be.

Love Chrissie xx
The title is prefect for this piece. Very positive and happy one :)
VastaaPoistaShe is so beatiful woman! Congrats!
VastaaPoistaShe is lovely. I, too, sometimes us photoshop to enhance my old-school drawings. I say old school, because that is what my daughter calls them. Haha Happy Paint Party Friday!
VastaaPoistaShe looks lovely, such calm expression! The butterfly on her hair is beautiful.
