Travelling journal/Matkapäiväkirja

Travellin journal of two ladies from vintage time. They are good friends and love to travel together. Now they are planning to take an interesting trip to Europe, France and Italy in April the 2nd 1948. They have planned to see at least the famous Eiffel tower in Paris and the leaning Tower in Pisa, Toscana area, Italy.

I created this digital art journal page using my old vintage image material from my archive. It is skrap like, and I think it fits in old vintage time.

Kahden ystävättären matkasuunnitelma vintage-aikakaudelta. Heillä on aikomus matkustaa Eurooppaan ja tutustua siellä ainakin Pariisin ja Pisan kaupunkeihin, ja nähdä kuuluisat Eiffel-torni Pariisissa ja Italiassa Toscanan alueella Pisan kaupungissa sen kuuluisa kalteva torni. Matka on suunnitteilla tehdä 2. huhtikuuta 1948.

 Toteutin layoutin fotosopissani vanhasta vintage skräppi-materiaalistani.

I've cropped them out of the original backgrounds. I altered the girl's hair painting now on the computer screen with digital brushes of the photoshop.

I made the BG digitally, and finished the page typing the quote.

Ylinnä näet hybridityöni ja kaksi käsin maalaamaani työtä - toinen akryyleillä ja toinen värikynillä. Muunsin molemmat pääkuvaa varten digitaalisesti rajaamalla. Hybridityöni teemaan 'Missä ja milloin tahansa kenen tahansa kanssa.'

Käytin käsin akryyleillä maalaamaani 'mustahattuista naista' päähenkilönä. Kuvamateriaalista päätellen hän on yksin Pariisissa. Digitaalisen kuva-aineiston valitsin arkistostani ja koostin fotosopissani hybridityöni. Siitä ilmenee missä ollaan ja nyt seikkaillaan yksin. Viimeistelin työn kirjoittamalla mietelauseen:

Wait of the mountain/Vuoren odotus

My Fantasy art/Art Journal page that I designed and layered in my photoshop program. I made two versions for the quote of Sayasha Subedi:

"The mountain waits all day for the night when his MOON will be finally bright."

The above interpretation is for the scene of day time, and beneath you see the scene when the mountain's wish has come true.

I have made the moon myself long time ago, and now made two different ones for boat the day and night scenes. Other images were chosen from my archive, effects and alterations made digitally on the backgrounds using digital painting brushes, effects and filters of the photoshop. 

I finished the work typing the quote.

'Vuori odottaa koko päivän yötä milloin hänen Kuunsa tulee viimein kirkkaaksi.'

Tein kaksi tulkintaa teemaan: ensimmäisessä on päivä ja toisessa vuoren odotus on toteutunut. 

Kuun olen tehnyt kauan sitten ja nyt muunsin sen päivään sekä yöhön sopivaksi. Muu kuva-aineisto on arkistostani ja olen sitä muokannut tätä työtä varten. Taustan muunsin molempiin fotosopin maalaussiveltimillä, filttereillä ja tehosteilla. Viimeistelin kirjoittamalla tekstin.

Koostin hybrityöni digitaalisesti käyttäen aiemmin käsin tekemääni taustaa vuodelta 2014. Silloin oli tapana lisätä töihin elintarvikkeiden mukana tulleita verkkoja. Olen näköjään tehnyt niistä oikein kullattuja ja pitseilläkin koristeltuja 😉 

Nyt tein hybridi-layoutin käyttäen digitaalisia kerrostumia ja elementtejä sekä naisen kasvoja, jotka muuntelin lisäämällä digitaalisesti monochrome-filtterin ja muita grafiikkakerroksia. Viimeistelin kirjoittamalla Lucadon mietteen ja tein sille pyöreän taustan.
