I designed and layered it in my Photoshop with my handpainted girl who is the hostess and is waiting for the friends to her picknic party. Other images and overlays are chosen from my archive.

Hybridinä tekemäni art journal-työ teemaan 'Vanhat hyvät kesät'. Suunnittelin ja toteutin sen fotosopissani käyttäen kutsujen emäntänä maalaamaani tyttöä, joka tässä on kutsunut hyviä ystäviään piknikille. Kuvitukseen valitsemani tekstit:

Pink and Purple/Pinkki ja violetti

 

My digitally in Photoshop designed and layered artwork for the theme 'Pink and Purple' at Digital Whisper.

Mauve refers to a pale purple or soft or pale lilac shade named after the mallow flower. It is described as pink violet. You find all these shades in my work.

Näille väreille on nimetty useita sävyjä kuten malvanväri (kukasta), vaalea violetti tai lila. Pinkin on vaaleanpunainen. Kaikkia näitä löytyy työstäni.

Memories of the past/Muistoja menneistä

 

In Kadriorg Park, Tallinn, Estonia

I visited it in 2013 and took the photo, that presents now the background of my art journal page for the theme 'The good old summertime' hosted by Erika at

  Art Journal Journey.

Kadriorg Park is the most outstanding palatial and urban park in Tallinn, covering around 70 hectares. Its construction began in 1718 on the orders of Russian tsar Peter I. Elements of park design from 18th, 19th and 20th centuries can be seen now. There you can visit also two interesting Art Galleries.

In my photo you see a vintage lady, that I added on a bench, and who could be from the Erika's "good old summertime"😀

So I'm linking my digitally made work on the theme of her.

Nostalgiseen teemaan 'Hyvät vanhat kesät' tein fotosopissa digitaalisesti kuvan, jossa käytin taustana omaa ottamaani  valokuvaa vuodelta 2013. 

Vierailin Tallinnan Kadriorg'in mahtavassa, kauniissa puistossa, jonka on rakennuttanut alkujaan tsaari Pietari ensimmäinen 1728. Sitä on restauroitu useita kertoja nykyiseksi upeaksi suureksi puistoksi taidemuseoineen. Me suomalaiset tunnemme sen varmasti niin hyvin, etten kuvaile sitä tässä enempää. Suosittelen kuitenkin vierailemaan.

Kuvassani näkyvän vintage leidin lisäsin penkille ihmettelemään 'ötökkää' 🐞

Good Old Summertime/Entisajan hyvät kesät

 My  digital art journal page for the Erika's theme 'In the good old summertime' at Art Journal Journey Challenge this month.

My words "Summertime is the sweetest time to fall in love" are not favorable to everyone: on a closer look the situation is bad for the man there up - because his target seems to be a mermaid 😉

I found my image material for this summery page from my archive, and I designed and layered the work in Photoshop program.

Art journal työni sanat 'Kesä on suloisinta aika rakastumiselle' eivät odennäköisesti toteudu ylhäällä näkyvälle miehelle, koska kohde näyttääkin olevan lähempää katsottuna vedenneito 😉

Favorite colour/Suosikkiväri

I don't have any excact favorite colour - I like so may of them. I like the beautiful combinations of different colours, and that I'm presenting with this card. 

There you see my hand acrylic painted face surrounded with the beautiful colourful elements. So the card is technically a hybrid artwork.

'Suosikkiväri'-haasteteemaan tein kortin, missä on käsin akrylein maalaamani kasvo ympäröitynä monin värikkäin kukin ja elementein.
