Colors of Autumn/Syksyn värit

My hybrid art journal page was made with my hand painted 'girl and leaves' work, and several digital images from my archive. I made the text and its background with the photoshop tools, as I also made the design and layering with them. You see there up two great tits (chickadees), that are the partial migrants; so most of them stay in Finland over winter.

The Window to autumnal Lapland of Finland/Ikkuna syksyiseen Suomen Lappiin

'RUSKA' - the phenomenon of leaves turning various shades of red, yellow, and brown during the autumn season.'

It is most colorful in our Lapland as you see up in the photo. You see there also a reindeer; reindeer herding is a traditional livelihood of the Arctic peoples, especially of the Sami, but nowadays in Finland it is also practiced by Finns and Finno Sami.

'Ruska' (sanalla ei ole englannin kielistä käännöstä) on kuten tiedät ilmiö  syksyisten lehtien ja kasvillisuuden muuttumisesta väreiltään punaisen, keltaisen ja ruskean  sävyisiksi. Etenkin Suomen Lapissa ruska on erityisen voimakasta. 

Tekemässäni kuvassa onkin poro, joka kuuluu kiinteästi Lapissa sekä suomalaisten että saamelaisten harjoittamaan porotalouteen. Linkitän digitaalisesti tekemäni art journal-työn 'Kaunis maailma'-teemaan.

'Every sunset offers a different story.'

My hybrid artwork that I designed and layered in Photoshop with its tools; I painted the original scenery photo partly with digital painting brushes, used my hand acrylics painted face, beneath,

 two different way on it, made the word 'sunset', and added the birds image, and typed the text.

Sisters/Sisaret

My in Photoshop designed and layered digital vintage style artwork for the theme 'Sisters' at Digital Whisper. 

The girls seem to have the different hobbies - dance and books.

 There up you see my handmade ATC-card 'Sisters', their mutual hobby is sewing. 

Now I framed the card to be a board on the wall.

In addition I made another 'sisters' from my earlier hand drawn picture, that I now painted in Photoshop with it's digital painting brushes on the computer screen. 

 I finished the board with a frame.

"Sisaret ovat erilaisia kukkia samasta puutarhasta"

Digitaalisesti fotosopissa tekemäni työ 'Sisaret' teemaan, jossa tytöillä näyttää olevan erilaiset harrastukset - tanssi ja kirjat.

Ylhäällä on vanha tekemäni ATC-kortti 'Sisaret' - heillä on yhteinen käsityöharrastus. Kehystin nyt työn. Teinpä vielä kolmannenkin 'sisarukset' kuvan piirtämistäni tytöistä, joista maalasin fotosopin maalaussiveltimillä kuvaruudulla taulun, johon lisäsin digitalisesti kehyksen.
