Kaiken materiaalin valitsin arkistostani, muuntelin, lisäsin tehosteita ja filttereitä ja viimeistelin layoutin kirjoittamalla tekstit fotoshop-ohjelmasani.

The dance of butterflies

For the theme 'Butterfly' at Digital Whisper Blog Challenge this week. 

I made two works. Above you see my hybrid version that I created with my hand painted face and digital elements. 

First I made the digital background and digitally stamped small butterflies. I tried to get some movement effect to my background, and I can see it - and hope you, too. Then I added the face and the 'crown' and the big butterfly.

 So there is flying the 'Queen' with her 'assistants'. 

Beneath is my interpretation of 'Creativity' accompanied with a flock of butterfly images and my stamped butterflies, other images and the quote, which I typed. All were combined on the scenery BG that I altered with digital filters in my photoshop program.

Tässä näet kaksi työtä, jotka tein 'Perhonen'-teemaan. Ylin on hybridi, jossa käytin käsin maalaamaani kasvoa ja digitaalisia kuvia ja leimailujani. Pyrin saamaan siihen liike-efektin tekemälläni taustalla.

My digital art journal page for the Jo's theme 'Wonderfully Wild' at Art Journal Journey this month. I think butterflies are wild and wonderful looking 'propelled flowers' when are flying freely in nature.

I made the layout onto the scenery photo that I altered with photoshop filters. I added there different kind of butterfly images and an altered girl portrait from my files. I stamped a part of the butterflies with a photoshop stamping tool on the background. I finished the page making and typing the quote and added the pencil image.

Tein tämän digityön teemoihin 'Perhonen' sekä 'Ihmeellisen villiä'.

Ensin muunsin maisemavalokuvan filtterillä haluamakseni fotoshopissa, sitten lisäsin erilaisia perhosten kuvia arkistostani. Osan perhosista tein leimaamalla kuvankäsittelyn työkalulla, sekä lisäsin tytön kuvan. Viimeistelin digityöni tekemällä mietelauseelle taustan ja kirjoittamalla sen, sekä lisäsin lopuksi kynät.

Työ sopii myös Teemakuun 'Kesäfiilis'-teemaan, joten linkitän myös siihen.

Hyvää viikonloppua - taitaa olla sateinen, mutta lämmintä on 😊

My digital interpretation for the Jo's theme 'Wonderfully Wild' at Art Journal Journey.

This scenery could be from our forests in Finland. We have bear, wolf, moose and hawk in our wilds.

I made the background adding digital filters onto a photo, and so gave it a touch of the morning mist and silence.

Other images are from my files, and I made the background text in the photoshop program.

Guardian Angels/Suojelusenkelit

My hybrid page for the Jo's theme 'Wonderfully Wild' at Art Journal Journey. I think that the word 'wild' match the angels, because they are not scaring anything, but go to save us also in very dangerous places. 

The hand made parts are the both faces; one my watercolor portrait, other my colored pencil drawing. The layout is digitally designed and made with digital overlays, filters and images from my files.

Tämän hybridi-työn tein käyttäen siinä kahta aiemmin maalaamaani kasvokuvaa: värikynä, ja vesivärityöt.

Tausta ja asemointi on digitekniikalla tehty. Lisäsin taustalle runsaasti kerrostumia ja muutamia digifilttereitä ja kuvia arkistostani. Viimeistelin tekstillä:

'Älä unohda suojelusenkeliä, joka aina on kanssasi.'

Tein art journal sivuni teemaan 'Ihmeellisesti villi', ja perustelen enkeliä tässä sillä, että he ovat villin rohkeita, koska tulevat pelastamaan meitä todella vaikeissa paikoissa.

Jellyfish is in the spot light

For the theme 'Jellyfish' at Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week.

I caught "Two birds with one stone", when altered my new A4-size work

 this postcard sized with small alterations.

The water world is rich; so you see there also goldfish and other water wonders. The girl, who may be a water maiden, has gone also there to look.

'Medusa valokeilassa'

Postikortti-teemaan 'Medusa'. Pyydystin "kaksi kärpästä yhdellä iskulla", kun muunsin äskettäin tekemäni A4 kokoisen työni pienin muutoksin postikorttikokoon, jonka linkitän nyt 'Medusa'-teemaan.

Wonders of the Waterworld

 

My digitally created interpretation for the theme 'Goldfish' at Digital Whisper.

First I made the background with a photo, digital overlays and effects, and the layout with the other images from my archive. 

I tell you about my working method, because nowadays you see much art, which is ready photos, some even AI made.

The Water world is rich; there you see also a jellyfish, and the girl who is wondering and admiring.

Tämän vedenmaailmaan liittyvän kesäisen digityön tein 'Kultakala'-teemaan. Siellä näyttää olevan myös medusa; vedenmaailma on rikas. 

Tein ensin taustan valokuvalla, jolle lisäsin kerrostumia ja muita kuvia arkistostani. Suunnittelen ja teen layoutini itse. Selittelen tekotapaani siksi, että nykyisin näkee blogeissa valmiita valokuvi, jopa tekoälyllä tehtyjä kokonaisuuksia.

Wonders of wings 🦋 Siipien ihmettä

My hybrid interpretation for the 'Things with Wings' at Try it on Tuesday', and on the 'Face' theme at Nicole's DV Artist Friday Face Off.

I made my fantasy design, and combined the layout digitally with the image material that I've saved in my files. You see there in Wonderland a fairy (made by me) landing from a flight, two angels and two butterflies, all on their wings.

I love how summer just wraps its arms around me like a warm blanket.

I created this colorful summery page with hybrid techniques using my hand  painted 'Art deco' acrylic painting beneath. I set it on my mixed media background and added on it my mixed-media tag with the text that I typed.

Face at the sea/Kasvot merellä

 'You can find me where the sand meets the water.' 

I made this fantasy digital layout for the themes 'Face' and 'What makes you happy'. I've always loved boating and sailing at the sea.

The face-images are from my files and altered digitally by me. The one on the hand is originally a moon, but I altered it to be a colored face. All alterations and effects were made with the tools of my Photoshop program.

I made the background using a napkin and drove the blue figures with a pen, the print additions are made digitally. The girl is the image from my file, but flowers in her hair are made and added by me. I finished the page typing the quote and the text 'I love summer'.
