My last night's dream for the theme 'Oh What a Night' at Try it on Tuesday.

I loved to lay in the hammock under the moon light surrounded with stars and followed by a swan. 

I created my digital work in my photoshop program with the image material chosen from my archive, and made the layout and effects with its tools.

Wonders of wings 🦋 Siipien ihmettä

My hybrid interpretation for the 'Things with Wings' at Try it on Tuesday', and on the 'Face' theme at Nicole's DV Artist Friday Face Off.

You can see there on my framed layout four butterflies and a fairy with wings. The girl is my hand painting, and it and all other images were added digitally on the background.

I made my fantasy design, and combined the layout digitally with the image material that I've saved in my files. You see there in Wonderland a fairy (made by me) landing from a flight, two angels and two butterflies, all on their wings.

Digikollaasissani näet tekemäni lennoltaan laskeutuvan keijun, kaksi enkeliä ja kaksi perhosta - kaikki siivillään kesäisessä luonnossa.

'Nightly dance of butterflies'

This fantasy was made digitally with a big number of the nature topic images, which I found from my files. I combined the 'queen' butterfly digitally with several elements and emphasized it with light effects. The other butterflies I stamped with a digital tool in different colors and sizes. I finished the page adding the frame and another beautiful butterfly of the same style; she could be Queen's chambermaid😉

'Yöllinen perhostanssi'

Tämän fantasian tein digitekniikalla ja keräilin ison joukon luontoaiheista kuvamateriaalia arkistostani. 'Kuningatar'-perhosen koostin osista ja tehostin valoefektein. Muut perhoset eri väreissä leimailin digityökalulla, ja viimeistelin työni kehyksellä ja samantyylisellä koristeellisella perhosella, joka saattaa olla kuningattaren seuraneiti 😉

The summer's already come in the middle of the winter, hasn't it? 

So, lets make a nest for the little birds."

The words are from an old Finnish folklore Christmas song written in 1883.

I created the altered background using digital painting brushes to make more snow, and added digital images, altered also digitally. 

I built up this calendar. The important date on it is December the 30 in 1941, and the included note is telling:

Don't let anyone rent space

in your head, unless they're

a good tenant. 😏

And there on right of the paper are other good advises for life.

The plan seems to be travel this far as to Sydney Australia.

Painted recycling box

Tea for two  (Klick!)

I painted  this recycled small 5x3,5 inch box (contained before some cosmetics) with watercolor pencils using brushes, and a black and white pens. There are a girl with her cat and a fun bird has come to visit. The tea cup is on a strange place - I don't know why 😉 A part of the background stuff is painted by me, a part are small pieces of scraps.

I photographed the box on an antique tin can (the Finnish word 'Lakritsia' means liquorice) with a small ceramic house.

Kierrätetty rasia-maalaus

Teetä kahdelle

 Maalasin pienelle kosmetiikkaa sisältäneelle 9x12 cm rasialle 'Teetä kahdelle'-maalauksen.' Käytin vesivärikyniä siveltimellä maalaten sekä mustaa ja valkoista kynää. Maalasin tytön, kissan ja hassun linnun sekä erilaisia kuvioit em. välineillä.

Teekuppi on aika erikoisessa paikassa - en tiedä miksi 😉Liimasin taustalle lisäksi koristeeksi muutaman paperin palasen.

Kuvasin rasiani vanhan peltisen lakritsilaatikon päällä. Kuvaan pääsi myös pikku keramiikkatalo. Linkitän työni 'Kasvot'- sekä 'Kierrätys'-haasteisiin.

Hyvää kesäistä viikonloppua kaikille.
