Cupid, aka Amor, is the son of Venus in Roman mythology, depicted as a winged child carrying a bow and arrows, shooting arrows of love.
Diana, on the other hand, symbolizes the goddess of hunting, the moon, childbirth, children, wild animals, and forests.
In my illustration, the two meet and Diana has taken possession of Cupid's arrow.

Cupid eli Amor on roomalaisessa mytologiassa Venuksen siivekäs poika, joka kantaa jousta ja nuolta ampuen rakkauden nuolia.
Diana puolestan symboloi metsästyksen, kuun, synnytyksen, lasten, villieläinten ja metsien jumalatarta.
Kuvituksessani postikortiksi Diana on riistänyt jousen Amorilta estääkseen tätä ampumasta nuolellaan.
Linkitän kortin teemaan 'Jousi, Jousimies'.

With two hunters nearby, I'd be worried if I were that white deer.
VastaaPoistaDon't worry, Cupid shooted only arrows of love 😄💘
PoistaWhat a wonderful piece! hugs Elke
VastaaPoistaThanks Elke 💘🌞
PoistaDiana has certainly protected the white deer in your picture. Sometimes we must protect a thing of beauty in whatever way we can. Diana has taken matters into her own hands, quite literally. I don't really think Cupid intended to hurt the deer.
VastaaPoistaHugs, Neet xx
Right, Cupid's arrows are only love arrows 💘
VastaaPoistaBeautiful!
