| Cupid and Diana |
Cupid, aka Amor, is the son of Venus in Roman mythology, depicted as a winged child carrying a bow and arrows, shooting arrows of love.
Diana, on the other hand, symbolizes the goddess of hunting, the moon, childbirth, children, wild animals, and forests.
In my illustration, the two meet and Diana has taken possession of Cupid's arrow.

PoistaDiana has certainly protected the white deer in your picture. Sometimes we must protect a thing of beauty in whatever way we can. Diana has taken matters into her own hands, quite literally. I don't really think Cupid intended to hurt the deer.
