Books and Roses Day on 24. April is romantic Catalan tradition when people exchanges a book and a rose. Since 1997 the official slogan of the day has been "A rose for a love, and a book forever."
In Finland, it is customary for the man to give a rose to the woman, and for the woman to give a book to the man.
