Girl who loves birds-PPF

I found my old 5x6,5 inch sketch of this girl from my stash and decided to finish the work. I painted the girl with acryl and watercolour pencils and the background with acrylpaint. It looked so pale that I made something strange: I cut pieces of an old chiffon scarf and glued on the background, as well as a piece of lace to be a collar for the girl. It didn't look good yet...... so I decided to add more elements with photoshop technique.

After scanned the work I added digitally all other elements you see and made digitally the dress for the girl and decided to give a digital boost on the girl's skin.
Then finished my mixed-media work with a digital frame.

And here she is ready to wish you a happy PPF ❤

Löysin vanhan tekemäni 12x16,5 cm piirroksen tytöstä ja päätin tehdä työn loppuun. Maalasin tytön vesi- ja akryylisiveltimillä ja taustan akryylillä. Tulos näytti kalpelta, joten tein jotain kummallista: leikkasin vanhasta sifonkihuivista palasia ja liimasin ne taustalle, samoin palan pitsiä esittämään tytön kaulusta. Tämä ei vieläkään näyttänyt hyvältä, joten päätin lisätä elementtejä digitekniikalla.
Skannattua työn lisäsin digitaalisesti kaikki muut elementit, jotka näet, tein myös puvun tytölle ja päätin antaa tytön iholle digitaalisen käsittelyn. Lopuksi viimeistelin mixed-mediatyöni kuvankäsittelyssä  kehyksellä.
