I made this mixed-media page for the theme 'Hearts' at
Art Journal Journey this month. The host is Elizabeth from Altered Book Lover -blog. Click the link and look how wonderfully Bluebeard and Elizabeth have created the theme hearts for us.
I created mine using magazine cut outs, scraps, some digital elements.
I hand made the background with a napkin and watercolors and finished the page adding digitally the frame and texts.

VastaaPoistaThe first thing I noticed was the texture you achieved on the hearts. Then I saw how adorable the dog and sweet girl were. They were made for each other. Finally, I loved the springtime flowers that grace the scene. This is a beautiful first entry this month at Art Journal Journey using my theme. Bleubeard isn't too sure about the dog, but I assured him any dog wearing a crown with a heart on it was someone he should get to know!!
