... on the late Finnish ruska leaves.
"I love those who can smile in trouble.' -Leonardo da Vinci
You see Leonardo and his famous model Mona Lisa on the autumn leaves, which I picked up in the woods when I was walking there. I decided to use them in some of my art. So at home I scanned the leaves and cropped with my photoshop program. The ruska colors were faded yellow and brown/red. I chose two famous Renaissance characters as the head role to my art journal page. I altered the colors of their photos to match the main color combo. I made the background with filters and overlays and added other images on the page. Then finished the work typing the Leonardo's words on one of the leaves .
I'm linking the page at the Art Journal Journey challenge theme 'My favorite color is October' chosen by Tracey this month.

So creative and fun to use leaves you collected. The colors are wonderful as are the figures and quote. This is super cool and thoughtful, Sirkkis.
VastaaPoistaThis is such a clever page Sirkkis. I like how you chose the Mona Lisa and Leonardo for your smiling people. Adding the leaves really makes this page so autumnal. I especially like the angel flying in the wine and coffee. Thanks for sharing with us at AJJ for Tracey's challenge, and I hope all is well with you. Hugs-Erika
VastaaPoistaI was impressed by the beautiful leaves you picked on your walk, and then to use them (after scanning) in your art is incredible. They make beautiful backdrops for both Leonardo and Mona Lisa, as well as the backdrop for Leonardo's quote.Simply stunning and oh so beautifully done, too.
VastaaPoistaMy sincere apologies. I forgot to thank you for sharing your incredible digital entry with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey's theme.
VastaaPoistaThank you very much, Elizabeth for your kind comment. You take just right what is the main message of my page - it's the autumn leaves 🧡🍁
