This my hand made page with the background and girl painted on it, is one from my altered old book pages. It's made long time ago, as I see there embossing, stamping and doodling with gold pen. I haven't posted the page earlier.
Now I hand painted the bird with acrylics (a nightingale), cropped it and added on the page. The word silence was on it already, and now I found a super quote for that word and the page, and added it on the page.

Sivuni menee teemaan 'Hiljaisuus'. Löysin vanhan kirjan sivulle käsintehdyn työni enkä ole koskaan sitä julkaissut. Siitä on kauan koska olen tehnyt embossausta, leimausta ja kuviointia kultakynällä. Nyt maalasin satakieli-linnun akryyleillä ja kiinnitin sen sivulle. Hiljaisuus-sana oli jo valmiina, ja löysin nyt sopivan mietelauseen art journal-työlleni ja sanalle.
Such a beautiful page Sirkkis, and how true, if someone wants to see a bird one must remain silent and still. I love watching the blackbird family visiting my garden, they have been coming for years and I am sure they are of the same family year in and year out. Similarly the bluetits who used to knock on the window for seed to be put out when I first moved in. They make me smile with their antics.
