I made this digital art journal page for the Chris's theme 'On all fours' at Art Journal Journey Challenge this month.
I gave my interpretation a fun look, but the words, which I wrote under it, have a serious message.

VastaaPoistaA thoughtful and poignant creation, Sirkkis. I spent yesterday at the Honolulu Zoo. The zoo has wonderful habitats built for the animals, but I felt sad that they weren't running wild in their original habitats. I've noticed that primates in a lot of zoos turn their backs to people. I think that's an attempt at privacy under difficult conditions, That said, zoos are working for the survival of species and even reintroducing them back to the wild. We need much more land set aside for wildlife, and especially important migration corridors. Happy creating!
