Ants Laikmaa's Haus/Home Museum's Summer cottage

"Home is where our story beginns."
Ants Laikmaa (1866-1942) was an Estonian painter. His home/studio is now a house museum, and this is its summer cottage near by. I visited it in 1980s and this photo was taken there. Now I've added two stork images and the nest in it, so there are two homes now😊 In Estonia there are nesting lots of storks.

Ants Laikmaa on virolainen taidemaalari. Hänen kotinsa/työhuoneensa on museona ja kuvassa on sen lähellä oleva kesämaja. Vierailin siellä 1980-luvulla ja kuva on sieltä. Lisäsin siihen haikarat ja pesän katolle ja nyt siellä on kaksi kotia😊 Kirjoitin tekstin 'Koti on siellä, missä tarinamme alkaa.' Virossa pesii paljon haikaroita.
Tein art journal-työni 'Koti'-teemaan.

      Se on Haapsalussa, missä on myös kylpylä, ja tutustumiskäyntejä sieltä bussilla. Ei siis lähellä Tallinnaa.

      Thank you Elke. This is only summer cottage. The home muset is a separately house; much more bigger, but not as charming.

      Se oli kyllä vaikuttava paikan päällä. Ants Laikmaan Kotimuseo on Haapsalussa. Olin siellä kylpyläreissulla ja kävin tutustumassa paikkaan.
