My acrylics hand painted 'Girl with windy hair'

Now I painted her newly on the computer screen with brushes of my photoshop program. I think it's more difficult to paint that way than to paint with hand on paper. However I like to make this kind of hybrid pages. The background was made with the image material that was chosen from my archive.

I finished my hybrid work with Maurice Greene's quote which, however, is assuming that you have this kind of targets. But, anyway I think the words are supporting for start the new year. I'm linking my art journal page at Erika's theme 'What's up' at Art Journal Journey Challenge this month.

Tämän hybridi-art journal työn tein käyttäen siinä aiemmin akryyleillä maalaamaani tyttöä, mutta maalasin hänet nyt uudestaan hiirellä tietokoneeni kuvaruudulla fotosoppini siveltimillä. Tämä tekniikka on vaikeampaa kuin maalaaminen käsin paperille, mutta hybridit ovat nyt suosikkejani. Taustan olen tehnyt kuva-arkistostani valitsemin materiaalein.

Lisäämäni miete:

Sanat edellyttävät tosin, että pyrkisit ensimmäiseksi. Sehän ei ole aina tavoite, mutta sanat kuitenkin sopivat kannustamiseksi vuoden aloittamiseen eikä niistä ole haitaksi. Linkitän art journal-työni teemaan 'Mitä on tekeillä' - ja kokonainen vuosi on sitä.
