Memories/Muistoja

as theme at Take a Word Challenge

Vision
I don't have family pictures from my childhood because it was war time here in Finland. We must move and move as refugees and father was at war.

I turn back to my childhood and the dream I saw. I declared that it isn't dream but a real vision. I was 6 year old when I saw at night an angel who danced round and on the branches of our christmastree.
I was little afraid when I waked up in the morning.
I told my mother what I saw and she reassured me saying that I needn't be afraid at all because angels are good and don't make any harm to anybody.
I still remember that dream (vision?)
*****

  3. What a lovely story about the angel, and your artwork to illustrate it is just perfect, the little girl watching, the beautiful flowers, the subdued dream-like colours and the angel.
