Eyes speak....

This project started from my earlier with acrylics/oil pastels

painted girl, which I now cropped from it's original background. I set it digitally on my another with acrylics painted, not earlier posted page, then added a cat image and a couple of butterflies. 

I finished my mixed media page painting turquoise stripes with digital brushes on the girls hair, and added the edited text.
Some people here call this kind of pages hybrid, but the word is so strongly related to cars, that I don't like to use it .

I'm linking the page at Art Journal Journeys theme 'Anything with Eyes' chosen this month by Jill .
I made from the same earlier published original also 
an ATC-size card for the current challenge theme 'Butterflies'  
at Moo Mania and More. I digitally cut and added two butterflies on the new version of size.

I close my project showing you the original page from 2018, which I now used for my both new works. 
 As you see the background was then made with acrylics, stamps and scraps.

'Silmillä on yksi kieli kaikkialla'

Tämän sekatekniikalla tekemäni art journal-sivun projekti alkoi aiemmin akryyli/öljy pastelleilla maalaamastani tytöstä. Irrotin sen alkuperäisestä taustastaan ja lisäsin nyt uudelle myös akryyleillä maalaamalleni taustalle (ei aiemmin julkaistu). Tässä vaiheessa lisäsin digitaalisesti myös kissan kuvan sekä pari perhosta. Viimeistelin työni maalaamalla digisiveltimellä turkoosit raidat tytön hiuksiin sekä lisäsin tekstieditoinnin.

Tein työni teemaan 'Mitä tahansa silmiin liittyvää'.
Tein vielä ATC-kokoisen kortin originaalista leikkaamalla digitaalisesti korttikoon ja lisäämällä siihen kaksi perhosta.
Kortti menee haasteteemaan 'Perhoset' (koko vapaa).
Näet alinna originaalin käsintehdyn mixed media sivun vuodelta 2018, jota käytin molempiin nyt tekemiini töihin. 
Taustan siihen olen tehnyt akryyleilla, leimoilla ja paperisilpuilla.
