I found quite old Itkupilli's images from my files and mixed them with some others. The layout was made with Photoshop Elements.

I've hand drawn the girl's face and combined it with other body parts digitally. The background with other images and layers were digitally composed together, too.

'Hauskaa sienistä'
Tämän sekatekniikalla tekemäni työn koostin teemaan 'Ympyrät'.
Tytön kasvot olen piirtänyt käsin ja liittänyt digitaalisesti muuhun kehoon ja kuviin. Taustassa ja mekossa löytyvät ympyrät.
Tänä syksynä sieniä sanotaan olevan vähän. Harmi, koska minusta niiden poimiminen raikkaassa ulkoilmassa on hauskaa ja rentouttavaa puuhaa.

This moo-sized 2,8x7 cm  card was made for the challenge theme 'Die cuts/Punches' at Moo Mania and More this fortnight.

I digitally cut from a paper I chose the butterfly-shaped image. Then I effected it with a bevel edge, and  set the butterfly
 (die cut) with edited texts and a frame on my handmade background paper.

This mixed-media/Art journal-page was made for the challenge theme 'Dreams or Wishes'

 at Art Journal Journey Challenge chosen by Eileen this month.

The first background paper was handmade by me. Now I added digitally several over lays, cookie cuttings, images and texts onto it. I'm linking the page also at Moo Mania and More Challenge theme 'Die cuts and/or Punches' this fortnight. I hope it's OK that I made die cuts digitally, i.e. I cookie cut my earlier made pages by digital tool to heart shapes.

My moo-size (2,8 x 7 cm) card for the theme #200 'Autumn Glory' at Moo Mania and More this fortnight.

I made the card cutting digitally a part from my acrylic painting. It made a shape of a leaf, and I took eyes from my other painting. I placed them on a new background among other autumn leaves, and then added the text and a frame.

I created this mixed-media page using my with acrylics painted face cropped from the original background, edited five quotes and made a layout digitally.

'Ero tavallisen ja ekstratavallisen välillä'

Tämän mixed-media sivuni tein käyttäen siihen käsin akryyleillä maalaamaani kasvokuvaa irrotettuna alkuperäisestä taustastaan, ja editoimalla viisi mietelausetta taustalle digitaalisesti.

Flapper Girl's style

'Flappers' were a generation of young Western women in the 1920s. 
I made this digital collage using googled free materials.

The girl image was in so bad condition, that I colored her skin with digital brushes; the flocks of butterflies I made with photo shop tools. 

I'm linking the collage at the Moon Mania and More Challenge theme #197 'Butterflies', the Take a Word Challenge theme 'Butterflies' and the Digital Whisper Blog Challenge theme 'Boots'.  I think flappers' boots were ankle boots.

'Flapper'-tyttön tyyliä'
Tällä nimellä kutsuttiin 1920-luvulla elänyttä nuorta naista.
Tein digikollaasin, johon otin tälle ajalle tyypillisiä asioita.
Teemana kahdessa yo haasteessa on 'Perhoset' ja kolmannen haasteen teemana 'Saappaat'. Uskoisin, että tämän ajan tytöt käyttivät pitkävartisten sijaan nilkkureita.
Kuvamateriaali kokonaisuudessaan googlattua, tytön kuva oli niin huonokuntoinen, että väritin ihon digitaalisesti ja perhosparvet tein digi-työkaluilla.
Hyvää viikonloppua kaikille.

This project started from my earlier with acrylics/oil pastels

painted girl, which I now cropped from it's original background. I set it digitally on my another with acrylics painted, not earlier posted page, then added a cat image and a couple of butterflies. 

I finished my mixed media page painting turquoise stripes with digital brushes on the girls hair, and added the edited text.
Some people here call this kind of pages hybrid, but the word is so strongly related to cars, that I don't like to use it .

I'm linking the page at Art Journal Journeys theme 'Anything with Eyes' chosen this month by Jill .
I made from the same earlier published original also 
an ATC-size card for the current challenge theme 'Butterflies'  
at Moo Mania and More. I digitally cut and added two butterflies on the new version of size.

I close my project showing you the original page from 2018, which I now used for my both new works. 
 As you see the background was then made with acrylics, stamps and scraps.

'Silmillä on yksi kieli kaikkialla'

Tämän sekatekniikalla tekemäni art journal-sivun projekti alkoi aiemmin akryyli/öljy pastelleilla maalaamastani tytöstä. Irrotin sen alkuperäisestä taustastaan ja lisäsin nyt uudelle myös akryyleillä maalaamalleni taustalle (ei aiemmin julkaistu). Tässä vaiheessa lisäsin digitaalisesti myös kissan kuvan sekä pari perhosta. Viimeistelin työni maalaamalla digisiveltimellä turkoosit raidat tytön hiuksiin sekä lisäsin tekstieditoinnin.

Tein työni teemaan 'Mitä tahansa silmiin liittyvää'.
Tein vielä ATC-kokoisen kortin originaalista leikkaamalla digitaalisesti korttikoon ja lisäämällä siihen kaksi perhosta.
Kortti menee haasteteemaan 'Perhoset' (koko vapaa).
Näet alinna originaalin käsintehdyn mixed media sivun vuodelta 2018, jota käytin molempiin nyt tekemiini töihin. 
Taustan siihen olen tehnyt akryyleilla, leimoilla ja paperisilpuilla.

The Windmills of my Mind

I made this mixed-media page for the theme 'Music' at

I turned the words of the song to my mind.
The girl portrait was sketched and painted with watercolors by me. Now I combined it with my digitally made background.

'Musiikki'-teemaan tämä mixed-media työni, jossa yhdistin vesivärimaalaukseni, tytön muotokuvan digitaalisesti tekemääni taustaan. Inspiroiduin Dusty Springfieldin esityksestä 'Mielesi tuulimyllyt' vuodelta 1969. Voit kuunnella sen videolta. Muunsin omakohtaiseksi  laulun nimen:
'Mieleni tuulimyllyt'. 
Suomeksi sitä on laulettu nimellä 'Samanlainen onni: 
On joka hetki ihmiselle yhtä ainutkertainen, tuskin tuokio on mennyt kun jo menneen huomaat sen...'

Summer holidays

We're all needing the nourishing power of the sun.
I drew and painted the girl with acrylics, made the background with a paper napkin, a text page and some acrylic blue marks. I finished it digitally adding daffodils, a butterfly and texts.
