I created the backgrounds, windows and doors with several overlay textures and grunge edges. The woman image was found from the Internet and I altered it with Photoshop elements. I finished the works with effects and texts.
As you see I made two versions with mainly same material but a bit different effects and layouts.

on digityöni, jonka tein teemaan 'Ruostunut'. Suunnittelin ja tein taustat, ovet ja ikkunat useilla pintakerrostumilla ja rosoisilla reunuksilla. Tein kaksi versiota ja käytin pääasiassa samaa materiaalia, mutta vähän erilaisin tehostein.

VastaaPoistaI realize you don't know much about me, but I am a HUGE fan of rust. I love both of these for very different reasons. I am sure everyone liked them because of the focal image, but I was drawn to the windows and the doors. That is where the rust shows itself best. For that reason, I can't pick a favorite. However, if we are looking at the focal image, I suspect I'd also choose the first one, although the figure appears tortured mentally/emotionally in the second one.
