I made this digital work for the theme 'Windmill' at Take a Word Challenge. I refer with the headline to the fact that the old windmills have been replaced with modern wind parks. I combined the photo of a Dutch windmill with the woman image, which I altered from an old painting. The layout, effects and text were made with Photoshop elements.

on digityö, jonka tein teemaan 'Tuulimylly'. Viittaan otsikollani siihen, että vanhanajan tuulimyllyt ovat vaihtuneet moderneihin tuulipuistoihin. Liitin hollantilaisen tuulimyllyn kuvaan vanhasta maalauksesta muuntelemani naisen kuvan. Layoutin, tehosteet ja tekstin tein kuvankäsittelyohjelmallani.

Modern wind parks aren't nearly as beautiful as the wonderful old windmills your picture is lovely.
VastaaPoistaIt is the same here, and windmills are seldom seen on the little farms where tney used to be common. Our moderns are called wind farms and they are very common here in my part of the midwest to capture the winds of the open landscape. Beautiful work, Sirkkis.
