I made this Art Journal/Mixed-media page for the Valerie's challenge theme 'Related to metal' at Art Journal Journey this month.
I have hand painted the girl with acrylics, and now I set her on the new digitally made background.

VastaaPoistaYour words are so true and they reminded me of some recent things. We ran across some old trophies (quite a few) when cleaning out my parent's home. He was a national coon dog training champion and competed for years. He also raced. My Mom had many old awards from her work for the military. There were some old trophies of mine as well. No one wanted them so they were boxed up and thrown away. Then a few days later my 5 year old grandsons were talking about their trophies for their sports participation and they were so excited and still amazed at the trophies they received last year. As time passes the trophies mean nothing, but you are right - the friends still do. Hugz
