Mother language is the in-born language, which a baby has already familiarized even in the gestation of mother before it was born. The first language is the language which a child acquires either through schooling or socialization, such as family.
I created this digital art journal page for the Elle's theme 'Language' at Art Journal Journey Challenge this month.
I composed my page with freebies and MC images, and made the layout and typed the texts with PSE.
Thank you for looking and the comment you kindly leave.

'Äidinkieli'
Teemaan 'Kieli' tein tämän art journal-sivun digitaalisesti ja käytin ilmais- ja MC-kuvia.
Äidinkieli tekee lapselle helpommaksi oppia muita kieliä.
Äidinkieli on sisään rakentuva kieli, joka tulee tutuksi lapselle jopa jo lapsen kehittymisen vaiheessa ennen kuin hän on syntynyt.
Hyvää päivänjatkoa sinulle.
Wonderful, creative and artistic page.

Very interesting! I forgot it was called the Mother Language. Your page is very sweet and very well done! I love your focus on the Mother Language for the AJJ theme - brilliant!
VastaaPoistaI am learning so much about languages this month. I hadn't heard of mother language, but it does make a lot of sense. And I love this vintage page. The yellow is cheery and what a cute little vintage girl with her mom. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey. It is a fantastic page. Hugs-Erika
VastaaPoistaI'm surprised that mother language is not well known. Here it's asked in official blanks etc.
PoistaA wonderful page Sirkkis! I hadn't heard of Mother language either.

This is beautiful! That first language is so important - I am always concerned for small children not being talked to by their families on buses or trains - even more so here in England when they are give a mobile phone to 'play' with! Hugs, Chrisxx
VastaaPoistaThe impact of the mother language for our children is so important, you have created a fantastic page Sirkkis, thank you for sharing with us at AJJ.
VastaaPoistaI have enjoyed reading and looking at your art in your latest posts as well.
Stay safe.

Such a beautiful image and I loved reading about Mother Language too.
VastaaPoistaNämä vintage-tyyliset äidinkielen sivut näyttävät viileiltä kirkkaalta keltaiselta. Äidinkieli on erittäin tärkeä, koska lapset voivat vaistomaisesti puhua samaa kuin äitinsä.

What a great and unique take on Language, Sirkkis. I had heard of mother language before, but never thought to use it for this challenge. I was very impressed. It's genuinely beautiful with the details you provided, too. Thank you beyond belief for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Elle's theme.
