Peony and girl


 On the top is my acrylic 8x5,5 inch painting, which I painted with a dry brush technique. Now I am satisfy with a result of the shading of the skin. This is my very first time I painted a Peony, and its dimension is wrong... lets play that it is a giant peony 😉 I painted for the girl a background with acrylics, too. The word 'Peony' I stamped with my ten year old letters from my ATC making period. They look quite nice, I think.
For the Neet's theme 'Type' at Art Journal Journey Challenge I composed an art journal page using my painting and making image additions digitally on it.

'Pioni ja Tyttö'
Ylinnä on käsin akryyleillä maalaamani 14x20 cm työ. Tytön maalasin kuiva sivellin-tekniikalla ja nyt olen tyytyväinen varjostuksiin ja lopputulokseen. Taustan maalasin normaalilla tavalla akryyleillä. Tein leimaamalla sanan 'Peony' ATC-ajoilta säilyneillä kymmenen vuotta vanhoilla kirjasinleimoilla. Näyttävät aika mukavilta. Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta kun maalasin pionin ja sen mittasuhteet ovat kyllä pielessä... leikitään, että se on jättipioni😉
Tein maalaukselleni art journal-sivun teemaan 'Teksti/kirjasimet' lisäämällä kuvamateriaalia valitsemalleni pohjalle digitaalisesti.

    again you have painted a most beautiful complexion on the girl in your page. Such skin tones are difficult to achieve but you have smashed it! Never mind that the Peony is large, it emphasises the beauty of the flower and echoes that beautiful script that you stamped at the top.
    I like the panel down the right hand side and the letters and numbers look just like the keys of an old typewriter.

    Your girl is beautiful. You have a special talent for creating girls with beautiful eyes and a lovely hairstyle. She has found the first giant peony in the world and it makes a special painting with the birds and the fancy "Peony" letters. I like it a lot.
