Prediction is difficult

"Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future."  - Niels Bohr
We are just starting a new year, and there are many calculations and predictions for the future. It is not easy as Mr. Bohr has said.
I created this digital art journal page for the Erika's challenge theme 'Let's face it' at Art Journal Journey this month. My digital layout was composed with image materials from different sources, and I made lighting and other effects of my design with Photoshop Elements.
I'm wishing everyone a good start for the Year 2022,
and hope it continues under the good stars.
Thank you for visiting.

Toivotan kaikille meille hyvää alkanutta uutta vuotta 2022,
ja sen jatkuvan hyvien tähtien alla.
Kiitos vierailustasi.

Prediction is never easy, especially when it comes to a big prediction like a whole year. I don't know who would even try. I do love your page though Sirkkis. The sky chart background is amazing as is the old fashions watch/compass. And of course the face works perfect and is a great addition. Thanks so much for joining in at AJJ so early in the month with this fantastic page. Happy new year. I hope Day 1 was a good one. Hugs-Erika

Your words are so true, we may make new year resolutions or give ourselves goals but the future holds all the cards. Each day is precious.

I thoroughly enjoyed this first entry at Art Journal Journey using Erika's theme. I love how you tied the astrological background to the quote by Bohr, a great mathematician who knew predictions were hard. Your lady is beautiful and the colors are stunning together. It is a really lovely beauty indeed. Happy New Year.

Happy New Year and great celestial piece. But I have to disagree about prediction of the future: it's actually quite easy to do accurately, when it comes to certain human events.

I'm with Neet! The background is so very pretty, complex and layered. And the slightly sarcastic words fit to perfection. Digital art jornaling is not something I have tried but you have me thinking now....
