'Imagine' the song for peace

As I was in my youth in the 60's, the Beatles music of course included my favorites. John Lennon's great 'Imagine' song got now it's comeback, when his  son Julian Lennon sang it in a charity concert in Poland. He earlier had said that never sing his father's masterpiece, but now took back his words and did it for victims of Ukraine.

I created my digital interpretation hoping to get something from the peace message of the song. The background and all image material, as well as the colors were altered by me with my photoshop tools.

The original album was released 1971.

'Imagine' laulu rauhan puolesta'

Nuoruusaikani suosikkipiiseihin 60-luvulla kuuluivat tietysti myös Beatles-levytykset. John Lennonin mahtava maailmanrauhaa voimakkaasti puolustava 'Imagine'  teki nyt uuden tulemisen, kun hänen poikansa Julian Lennon lauloi   sen äskettäin hyväntekeväisyyskonsertissa Puolassa. Se järjestettiin Ukrainan uhrien hyväksi. Julian oli  aiemmin sanonut, ettei koskaan laula tätä isänsä mestariteosta, ja teki sen nyt tässä konsertissa tukeakseen Ukrainaa.

Ohessa video, missä John Lennon esittää 'Imagine' kappaleensa. Albumi julkaistiin 1971.

Tein työni teemaan 'Suosikki lauluni'. Siinä olen muunnellut kaikki kuvat, taustan ja värit fotoshopin työkaluilla.
