*Rapunzel let down your hair so that I may climb thy golden stair*
Rapunzel is a German fairy tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm and first published in 1812 as part of Children's and Household Tales.
I included my page the stamp story board which tells the main content of the tale. You see that there is a happy end.
I'm linking my digital art journal page at Art Journal Journey this month Elle's theme
'Fairytales, Folklore & Fables - Tel me a story'.
Thank you for visiting.

Tämän art journal sivuni tein teemaan 'Sadut, folkloret ja tarut - Kerro minulle tarina'.
Kuvani esittää kohtausta missä ilkeä noita sanoo: 'Rapunzel laske alas hiuksesi, että voin kiivetä kultaisia portaita'.
Liitän mukaan kuvakertomuksen postimerkkeinä, mistä ilmenee onnellinen loppu tälle tarinalle.
This is gorgeous. Luv your stamp storyboard

Sirkkis, what fun your journal page is for this time of year! I love the words through the castle and the raven perched on the rooftop. And the wonderful old haggardly witch fooling poor Rapunzel. I’m wondering if those are real stamps.
VastaaPoistaThank you Annie, I'm glad you like my page. Yes, the stamps are real from DDR (East Germany).
VastaaPoistaYou and I must be thinking a lot alike because I woke up this morning with an image of this fairytale in my head and I knew exactly how I wanted to create my page. Your page came out fantastic Sirkkis. I love the witch, the castle, and all that golden hair. Maybe I'll need to tweak my page idea a bit when I make it, but I did enjoy yours. It's a great entry for Elle's challenge at AJJ. I hope you're having or had a wonderful weekend. hugs-Erika
VastaaPoistaI love this. I always loved the fable too.
VastaaPoistaI adore this page Sirkiss and I love the story! Those stamps are pretty spectacular too, hugs, Chrisx
VastaaPoistaVery well done! And yes, I sure grew up with this. Every Sunday we watch the fairy tale after Die Maus on TV :-)
VastaaPoistaThis is fantastic! I loved the story of Rapunzel when I was a child.

A beautiful page Sirkkis! Rapunzel is one of my favourite fairytales.
VastaaPoistaoh wonderful! I was hoping someone would do a Rapunzel page and you have Rapunzel stamps too! I have read many versions of this story, one even where Rapunzel is pregnant! Shocking! lol Thanks for joining me for the October theme at Art Journal Journey this month Elle/Empire of the Cat xx
