Fable of Rapunzel

*Rapunzel let down your hair so that I may climb thy golden stair*

Rapunzel is a German fairy tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm and first published in 1812 as part of Children's and Household Tales.
I included my page the stamp story board which tells the main content of the tale. You see that there is a happy end.
I'm linking my digital art journal page at Art Journal Journey this month Elle's theme
'Fairytales, Folklore & Fables - Tel me a story'.
Thank you for visiting.
👸🤴👍
Tämän art journal sivuni tein teemaan 'Sadut, folkloret ja tarut - Kerro minulle tarina'.
Kuvani esittää kohtausta missä ilkeä noita sanoo: 'Rapunzel laske alas hiuksesi, että voin kiivetä kultaisia portaita'.
Liitän mukaan kuvakertomuksen postimerkkeinä, mistä ilmenee onnellinen loppu tälle tarinalle.

  2. Sirkkis, what fun your journal page is for this time of year! I love the words through the castle and the raven perched on the rooftop. And the wonderful old haggardly witch fooling poor Rapunzel. I’m wondering if those are real stamps.

  4. You and I must be thinking a lot alike because I woke up this morning with an image of this fairytale in my head and I knew exactly how I wanted to create my page. Your page came out fantastic Sirkkis. I love the witch, the castle, and all that golden hair. Maybe I'll need to tweak my page idea a bit when I make it, but I did enjoy yours. It's a great entry for Elle's challenge at AJJ. I hope you're having or had a wonderful weekend. hugs-Erika
