Post from Japan

A Japanese quote: 'Time wails no one'
I designed and combined this digital art journal page with free images from the Web, and altered them digitally. I made the butterfly flocks with the digital stamping  technique, and the butterfly faces with the cookie cutter tool. I chose the Japanese quote, which I typed on the tag that I made with red, beige and black materials. These colors are typical in the Japanese art. The round form is also typical to it. So I finished my design with the round digital lighting effects.
I'm linking my page on The Erika's theme 'Seeing red' at Art Journal Journey .
Thank you for visiting.

  2. This is a gorgeous page SIrkkis. Your lady is a real beauty, and I'm a softie for postage stamps and mail art so adding those really makes this look like a postcard. It's a beauty, and thank you again for joining at AJJ. It's always appreciated. Have a great rest of your week. Hugs-Erika

  4. Of course, anything Asian fits in very well with the colour of red. This is beautiful and your young lady is extremely pretty. I love how you have built up your picture, just the right amount of items, not too overcrowded as sometimes collage can be.
    Hugs, Neet xx
