Girl and Iris

There is some spring in the air here, so I post this my hand acryl painting 'Girl and Iris' on the Friday Face Off at Nicole's DV Artist this week.
Iris doesn't bloom in spring time, but I think its color is like blue anemone's and it's blooming in spring.

Ilmassa on kevään tuntua, ja siksi julkaisen tämän käsin maalaamani 'Tyttö ja Iiris' akryylityön. Tosin iiristen kukinta-aika ei ole vielä, mutta onhan sininen väri keväällä kukkivien kuten esimerkiksi sinivuokonkin väri.

    So beautiful! I love irises. I saw big bouquets of them at the grocery store a couple of days ago. I almost bought one but the flowers were already all open, so I figured they wouldn't last long enough to justify the expense. So I just enjoyed them at the store.
