Life goes up and down/Elämässä on ylä- ja alamäkiä

My hybrid art journal work. 
"Life is like the ocean, it goes up and down." - Vanessa Paradis
I cropped my hand painted 'black hatted girl' out of the original painting beneath, and made digitally the alterations, image additions and typed the text. 
The images and overlays are chosen from my archive.

Hybridi-työni, jossa käytin aiemmin käsin servietti-taustalle akryyleillä maalaamaani 'mustahattuista tyttöä'. 
Nyt art journal-toteutuksena irrotin tytön taustastaan ja sijoitin uudelle nyt digitaalisesti tekemälleni taustalle. Siihen materiaalin valitsin arkistostani. Viimeistelin työn kirjoittamalla Vanessa Paradisin mietteen suomennettuna:
"Elämässä on ylä- ja alamäkiä."
Linkitän työn teemaan 'Elämänmenoa'.

      Aikoinaan, kun niitä maalailin, ei nämä digeilijät juuri niistä välittäneet. Ajattelin, että kun saivat niin vähän huomiota, käytän nyt hybrideissä; olen hybriditekniikkaan ihastunut. Kiitos kommentista 🥰
