Love of a parrot/Rakkaus papukaijaan

 
My hybrid art journal page designed and made with hand made material that you see beneath. 

Above my handmade background. There are pieces of textiles which I've cut from an old sofa cushion, the pieces of a nylon net and hand painted small spots.
My with acrylic hand painted girl and parrot .
I digitally cropped them out, and set on the background, and made the text sign
 typing it in my photoshop program.

 'No life is complete without a love of a parrot'

Hybridi-tekniikalla tekemäni art journal sivu 'Tee oma tausta'-teemaan. Tein sivuni kahdesta aiemmin käsin tekemästäni työstä: taustan olen tehnyt vanhan sohvatyynyn palasista, nylon verkosta ja piirtämistäni pienistä valkoisista täplistä. Yhdistin digitaalisesti fotosopissa tämän käsintehdyn materiaalin ja tekemäni tekstikyltin 'Elämä ei ole täydellistä ilman rakkautta papukaijaan'.

    That is definitely a very unique background. I love how you used fabrics and textiles you had on hand. I love that type of recycling. This is a wonderful entry for Mia's theme at AJJ, Sirkkis.

    My little bother had a parrot and they really loved each other. I think the bird knew my brother was ill and not long for this world. This is a lovely piece. I really like the girls face. Have a nice Sunday.
