'When one plants a tree, they plant themselves.'
My hybrid art journal page for the challenge theme 'Trees' at Art Journal Journey hosted by Gillena this month.
I designed it in Photoshop with the freebie background, the tree picture and my hand painted woman portrait that you see beneath. I added it with the layer mask technique onto the background, typed the quote, and added the frame.

Hybridi-työni 'Puut/Metsä'-teemaan.
Toteutin hybridi-työni fotosopissani lisäämällä käsin maalaamani muotokuva 'layeri-maski'-tekniikalla taustalle, ja viimeistelin art journal-työni tekstillä:
'Kun istuttaa puun, on kuin juurruttaisi itsensä.'

I like the mirroring between the open green shutters and the open green leaves! And your woman with the very intense and compelling eyes! The goddess's eyes of spring perhaps?
