My hybrid art journal page for the Elle's 'Cats, books and tea' theme at Art Journal Journey this month.
I cropped my hand painted 'Girl and Cat' from its original wet colored pencil painting below, and made the new background for it with old images from my files.
Now they are enjoying their favorite place siting in the sofa with a cup of tea. Of course the kitten has got her milk before hand 🐱

This is great Sirkkis. I love how the red heart could be all the happy love being shared between the girl and her kitty or it could be wings. It is certainly her happy place. Happy places are the best, aren't they? My dog came home Friday night, and if you substituted a pup for the cat in your art it could be me and her. Smile.
