I made the new background in Photoshop with the scrap material from my archive, made some alterations with the photoshop tools, and typed the clever words of Winston Churchill.

Hybridi art journal työni 'Linnut' teemaan. Suunnittelin ja toteutin sen käyttäen aiemmin käsin värikynillä taustoineen maalaamaani muotokuvaa, ja nyt uudelle digitaalisesti fotosopissa tekemälleni taustalle hieman muunneltuna siirrettynä.

I created a whimsy digital collage in Photoshop with image material that I chose from my archive; but anyway you see there the piano, and piano keys.

Maybe the smart looking gentleman is a composer, and the woman his muse.

My digital creation for the theme can be interpreted in several ways... one is that the girl is waiting for her dear friends to her picnic party 🍕, 

that I laid outside on the lawn - there is even the photo of my own backed pie 👩‍🍳

I'm hoping the party is a success 💚

My hybrid art journal page for the 'Bird' theme. 

I used my hand painted portrait, that you see beneath, and made the digital background in Photoshop.

I created the background of the art journal page with the images and overlays chosen from my archive, and made all effects with digital painting bushes and other photoshop tools.

I finished my artwork with the words of Rabindranath Tagore's book 'Stray Birds/Fireflies'.
